I am an artist and I have been creating art my whole life but have really gotten serious in the last several years. I paint in the Academic style after the Old Masters so I do Realism. I paint everything but I do tend to lean towards the florals. The flowers always catch my eye and I do stoop and sniff! but its their unique shapes and designs and colours that attract me the most. I can take a photo but painting them is so much more fun and rewarding. I lose hours when I paint because not only is it soothing but it is very meditative also.
I also paint reproductions! Have you ever dreamed of owning your very own famous Master's painting? I can probably paint it for you! I have studied Monet, George Stubbs, Sir Edwin Landseer, Johannes Vermeer, etc., etc.....
And, I am very good! (she says while blushing!)
